 Established in 1987 on Staten Island, Oakdale Academy serves children from
infants, aged one month through children aged eleven years from Brooklyn,
Manhattan, All Central & Southern NJ. Elementary school children work in
small group - based upon their abilities rather
than arbitrary chronological grouping rules.
This ensures each child being able to work at
his own pace and reach his own potential through
opportunities for critical thinking and problem
solving. Open 7 AM to 7 PM to serve working
parents. Holiday care available year round. Door
to door bus transportation for one way or
round-trip use.
Each child receives individualized attention and
programming. The daily classroom activities
provide a balance between the concrete
experiences, which children need to reinforce
and explore concepts already known and
understood.
