Beginner to Advanced Level Italian Language & Culture Classes for Adults:
General Italian
Our General Italian course gives you the opportunity to learn Italian, get to know our culutre, and acquaint yourself with Rome. Classes run from Monday to Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon, three hours a day.

Intensive Italian
In addition to the General Italian course, students in the Intesive program have one extra hour of class per day.

Extensive Italian
Our Extensive Italian courses are specifically designed for anyone who can't or doesn't need to attend classes everyday. We will help you to optimise your time, so you will be able to enhance your knowledge of Italian. Classes have a variable timetable, including the evening time!

- Classes: twice a week, two hours each
- Levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced
One to One Italian Lessons
Studens can choose the one to one or small group (2-3 students) lessons. Or, if you add to General Italian Course a one to one lesson a day, you will get a special discount! Time and location will be arranged with the teacher.

The Centro Machiavelli was founded in 1978, and is located in the historic centre of Florence, just a stone's throw from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, in the area of Santo Spirito. This neighbourhood is home to artisans and artists and as it is just off the beaten tourist track, the economic and social characteristics has been left intact. The school is in Piazza Santo Spirito itself, one of the finest squares of the city. Founded in 1995, Accademia del Giglio is a private Italian language and culture school based in Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy, approximately 3 hours north of Rome. Our courses are specifically aimed at helping international students to gain proficiency in the Italian language, understand the many aspects of Italian culture and acquire artistic skills.The school places considerable emphasis on the quality of its teaching. All our teachers have a degree from an approved Italian university, are native Italian speakers who can also speak English and / or French, and have at least 4 years’ teaching experience. They are prepared to help the students with any problem they may experience during their stay at the Accademia del Giglio.
