We are a non-profit organization that was established in 1982 for the benefit of the community to assist adult learners in obtaining training in high demand occupations such as vocational nursing, medical technologies and massage therapies, through certificate, diploma and degree programs. CBD College received National Accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) in 1997. CBD College was successfully reaccredited several times, most recently in 2005. The vocational Nursing Program has been granted programmatic accreditation by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), since 2006.

At CBD College, we maintain an ongoing relationship with our graduates through a job placement service, regardless of the year of graduation. Approximately four weeks prior to graduation, students are encouraged to make an appointment with the Placement Office for a formal interview and the development of a student employment plan. Qualified candidates are carefully screened prior to job referral. Many students find employment without the help of the Placement Office.
