Center for Cultural Diplomacy Studies, Berlin:
The Center for Cultural Diplomacy Studies offers educational and academic programs in partnership with leading international accredited universities, enabling students to explore, analyze and experience cultural diplomacy both in theory and in practice. The CCDS focuses in particular on exploring the balancing between hard and soft power, global governance, the process of globalization in an interdependent world, international economics & business, multiculturalism, intercultural dialogue & exchange, human rights, and religion, providing advanced knowledge and analytical tools and address the potential that Cultural Diplomacy has in shaping international policies and global strategies

The Center for Cultural Diplomacy Studies (CCDS) is the world's leading institute for the study of Cultural Diplomacy. Four different categories of education programs on Cultural Diplomacy are offered: graduate degree programs, e-learning courses, professional development programs (certificate programs) and study abroad (credit programs) dedicated either fully or in part to the field of Cultural Diplomacy.

Our objectives are to extend current research, programs and practices in the field of Cultural Diplomacy and create a platform to promote and sustain inter-cultural dialogue at all levels. The CCDS is committed to the promotion and development of applied cultural diplomacy studies, as well as excellence in the advancement and research in this rapidly evolving field.

Organization for Youth Education & Development - Young Leaders' Forums
Picture of Cultural Diplomacy Graduate Programs in Berlin, GermanyOYED Young Leaders' Forums are international networks of like-minded individuals who share an interest in strengthening intercultural relations within a region or country, or between particular regions or countries. The OYED has developed these Young Leaders´ Forums to bring together future leaders in politics, civil society, and the private sector, as well as other interested stakeholders. Each forum organizes regular Weeklong Seminars; academic and cultural programs that provide participants with an opportunity to network with one another, learn more about the region or relationship in focus, explore the increasing importance of cultural diplomacy, and discuss how they can organize their own activity to support the forum goals. Individuals join a Young Leaders´ Forum by taking part in one of these Weeklong Seminars:

University College Freiburg
Courses / Programs
One of the oldest and most renowned higher education institutions in Germany, the University of Freiburg provides a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS). This is the university's first interdisciplinary, English-taught undergraduate program and the first of its kind in Germany. We welcome students from Germany and international students from around the world.

Reaching across academic fields, the LAS Bachelor's Degree is complementary to the University’s existing disciplinary Bachelor programs. It is hosted by the University College Freiburg (UCF) and started in October 2012 with a pioneer group of 78 students.

Developing our own specific perspective on a long tradition of Liberal Education in the United States and on recent highly successful interpretations of that tradition in the Netherlands, we emphasize problem-orientation, student-centeredness and an international outlook.

Situated at the heart of Europe, in direct proximity to both Switzerland and France, Freiburg is one of Germany’s most beautiful cities. The capital of the famous Black Forest region, it is well known for its extremely high quality of life.
