Established in 1988, Workforce Advantage provides quality training in fields including Health Careers and Office Technology, including a Certified Nurse Aide training program. We have five convenient locations around the tri-county area - in Newark, Elizabeth, Morristown and Union City NJ.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Training Program:
This program prepares you for the State Certification, and for employment as a C.N.A in a local hospital or long-term care facility or Hospital. This program is offered in partnership with major employers, who provide their facilities for the clinical training and hire our graduates.

Workforce Advantage provides CNA training with hands-on experience in both a state-of-the-art on-site clinical lab as well as through externships at partnering long term care facilities. Our contextual learning techniques ensure that participants have the necessary customer service and life skills to succeed. Program skills and knowledge are reinforced to assure students pass the skill test and written exam. Participants receive counseling to overcome any barriers they may have that are impacting their ability to excel.

Our job-coaching model provides targeted reinforcement to assist participants in the transition to employment. Coupled with our innovative Virtual Job Developer, participants can be confident that they are well-prepared for a successful job interview and career in the Health field as a CNA.

Minimum Enrollment Qualifications:
- 5th Grade Reading Level as measured by the TABE Test
- No criminal background
