The Spanish-American Institute of International Education (SAIIE) was founded in 1984 in Seville, Spain and has been hosting the study abroad program for UW-Platteville since then. Over these years we have had students come from universities from all over the USA.

Seville is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. With a population of 750,000, it is the ideal place for a study abroad program. It is located in Southwestern Spain in the community of Andalusia and is recognised as the most important historic, cultural, artistic, and financial center in the south of Spain. Seville Airport is an international airport with regular flights to and from a range of major European cities. Seville is only 1 hour from Barcelona and Madrid by air.
