Cotter High School is a Catholic boarding and day college preparatory school for Grades 7-12 (boarding from 9th Grade onward) located in Winona, Winona County in Minnesota. Our diverse school community includes students with a wide range of talents, nationalities and interests.
Cotter is located in Winona, Winona County, Minnesota, a beautiful, safe city located along the Mississippi River, approximately a 2 hour drive southeast of Minneapolis/St.Paul, and a 4.5 hour drive northwest of Chicago, Illinois. Winona is accessible by train, bus, major highways, and airports in Rochester, Minnesota (RST) and La Crosse, Wisconsin (LSE).

The Cotter Residence Center provides boarding for International and American students in grades 9-12. At Cotter you will learn in a community of students from across the world, all here with one purpose: to learn in a rigorous academic environment where you are respected and challenged.
The single rooms are modern, fully furnished with a sink and ample closet space. Internet support and telephone service are also available in each room. The Cotter Residence Center is staffed with a Director of Residence Life and seven adult staff members who reside on each floor and provide a safe and secure home away from home for sixty young men and women.
The students are welcome to use the tennis courts, basketball court and various athletic fields on the campus. During the winter months they are provided with an opportunity for reduced fee memberships to the local YMCA for swimming, exercise and basketball facilities.

Winona is located 120 miles southeast of Minneapolis, MN of Highway 61. As you arrive into town you proceed through the traffic lights about 4 blocks to a four way stop sign on Vila Street. Take a left turn and drive 3 blocks to the campus. The Admissions office is located in the St. Teresa Hall building on the corner of Vila and Broadway Street. Please enter on the Vila Street side and stop in the Main Office to be greeted by our staff.This office is located on your left side as you enter the building.
Visitors traveling on I-90 will take a left turn on to Highway 43. Proceed to the first set of traffic lights and take a left on to Highway 61. Travel to the second set of traffic lights and take a right turn on Vila Street. Proceed straight about 6 blocks until you reach the Vila Street entrance on the corner of Broadway and Vila St, located just below the skyway.

Located in Viroqua, southwest Wisconsin (45 minutes south of the city of La Crosse), Youth Initiative High School is a wonderfully unique day and boarding high school for US and international students in Grades 9-12. Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Wisconsin and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.
TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
Saint John's Preparatory School is a Benedictine, co-educational, boarding and day college preparatory school for students in Grades 6-12, with boarding options beginning in the 9th Grade. Saint John's Prep is conveniently located 10 minutes west of St. Cloud within the 2,700 acres of woods and lakes of Saint John's University's campus in Collegeville, Stearns County, central Minnesota.
We offer a US curriculum with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, advanced placement courses, PSAT, SAT, ACT prep courses, a study abroad program in Austria, and English for international students.
