Wiltshire College Salisbury:
Located in Salisbury, south east Wiltshire in the south of England, approximately 80 miles from London and 23 miles north of Southampton, Wiltshire College Salisbury offers a unique blend of education and training to individual students and businesses throughout south Wiltshire and beyond. Whilst many of our students study full time at the College, an even greater number study with us part-time in their schools, work places, in community facilities, at Wiltshire College Salisbury.

Fulltime and Parttime Further and Higher Education Courses with Diplomas, NVQs, BA (Hons), HNDs, Foundation Degrees PGCEs/Cert Eds and A-Levels in Business, Computing, Construction, Engineering, Media, Art and Design, Performing Arts, Administration, Higher Education, Health Care, Sport, Travel and Tourism and many more. We welcome international students.
Accommodation is provided in St Mary's House:
The recently restored St Mary’s building provides high quality, secure and comfortable halls of residence which comprise 80 en-suite study bedrooms. Situated on campus but within its own grounds it is only two minutes from lecture and five minutes from the city.
Bedrooms:
The accommodation comprises both twin and single rooms, arranged in clusters of 6-9 rooms per block. Each room includes an en-suite shower and WC.
Each room will be furnished with a single bed; wardrobe; drawer unit; desk; chair and internet point. For disabled students, rooms with wheelchair access are available and all areas of the building are easily accessible.
Living away from home for the first time can be daunting. The Warden Team is available to support your personal and social needs whilst maintaining a safe, harmonious living environment. Our Student Services team is also available during the day to offer financial advice, confidential counselling and help with any other issues or concerns that may arise.
St Mary’s includes a communal Higher Education Centre, complete with PC workstations where you can work, send and receive emails, or simply relax. There is also a social room with a TV/Video and pool table. In addition, St Mary’s Chapel has been converted into a new multi-use centre especially for our HE students.
Wiltshire College has an increasing number of international students. We aim to offer our students an excellent education experience working closely with our university partners to ensure the quality of our provision is of a very high standard.
We have been looking after international students for many years. Our Information & Advice staff will help you with any enquiry you may wish to make and guide you through the application procedure. Our International Officer is responsible for the welfare of our international students and provides comprehensive advice and support on both practical and personal issues.
We offer international students an accommodation service which includes family homestay, rooms in our purpose-built hall of residence at our Lackham campus, or assistance with finding rented housing.

Arriving in the UK:
If travelling by air you will usually arrive at Birmingham, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead or through regional airport such as Bristol, Exeter or Southampton. Southampton or Exeter airport is convenient for travel to Salisbury. By sea, you will probably arrive at the ports of Dover, Folkestone or Harwich. It is also possible to arrive in London on the Eurostar train from Paris or Brussels through the Channel Tunnel.
Upon your arrival to Salisbury city centre, it is best to take a taxi to get to college especially when you have luggage with you. It is only a short distance (less than 2 miles) from city centre to college.
If you are arriving via Heathrow airport there are regular coach services into Salisbury from London, Heathrow, Gatwick, Bath, Bristol and the Midlands. Alternatively, you can also travel by train.
Southampton and Bournemouth airports have easy access to buses, coach and train services.
There are two local bus operators that connect Southampton airport to the city centre.
Birmingham airport has a coach shuttle that will take you to the city centre every hour. From the city centre you can catch the bus or National Express coach.
Bristol and Exeter airports are also convenient and have access to train services. There are shuttle services to take you to the city centre where you can link the rest of your journey.
Birmingham airport is quite far but you can take the train to Bristol/Bath Spa station and change in Bath Spa to get to Salisbury.
