Hadlow College, Kent:
Hadlow College is Kent's premier land-based college and one of the top three such colleges in the United Kingdom. Our primary aim is to offer high quality education across all levels and curriculum areas and we benefit from a dedicated and hard working team of people who are passionate about their subject. Garden Design Degree Course:
Involving the study of creative arts in combination with natural science, graduates are well equipped to take up positions as garden designers and landscape consultants. You will be encouraged to visit a range of gardens,parks and landscapes throughout the UK and Europe so as to develop your design skills and gain a further understanding of garden planning. New topics and interests will be constantly covered so as to stretch and stimulate. This degree is validated by the University of Greenwich.

Landscape Management Degree Course:
Graduates of this programme benefit from a sound knowledge base and well balanced range of scientific, technical and management skills. Focused around sustainable land management for leisure, recreation, amenity and landscape conservation, throughout this programme you will gain an understanding of environmental assessment impacts and the process of mitigation. Upon completion, you will be able to apply the knowledge gained and examine on a strategic level the management and conservation of amenities within both the urban and rural environments.

Animal Management Degree Course:
The care and welfare of both domestic and exotic animals has never been more important. By taking a course at Hadlow College you could take part in the growth of this industry and be responsible for caring for a variety of species. You will benefit from highly practical training using our purpose-built animal management facilities which house a range of aquatics, reptiles, invertebrates and small ammals.

In total we have in excess of 120 species. The emphasis will be ongiving you hands-on experience with duties that encourage you to be actively involved in the animals’ welfare as well as providing background theory relating to animal biology, conservation and behaviour. At the end of your time with us you should be equipped to work in a variety of different places, from animal rescue centres to pet shops and veterinary surgeries.

Fisheries Management Course:
Focusing on the preservation of fisheries and fish husbandry, this programme develops multi-skilled graduates suitable for a number of positions throughout the industry. You will gain a comprehensive grounding in fisheries management, aquatic ecology and aquaculture. 

Equine Management Degree Course:
This comprehensive degree programme covers all aspects of Equine Management and equips graduates with the necessary skills to run their own equine business. Structured to allow you to pursue a programme which reflects your experiences and interests, the course is a mix between theory and practical outside demonstrations, visits and seminars. You will cover the training and breeding of horses, equine science and estate management.
