Study Abroad Programs:
Regent's American College London believes in the importance and benefits of an international education. We encourage visiting and existing students to participate in Study Abroad programmes:
- Students from affiliated schools can apply through their home institution to study abroad at RACL.
- Students from non-affiliated schools can still study abroad at RACL, but should apply as a non degree seeking student.
- Full time RACL students have the opportunity to study at any of our Webster campuses around the world.
RACL is located in Regent's Park close to the Marylebone area of central London and within walking distance of Baker Street tube station and several other London Underground stations. Our central London campus offers an ideal environment for students, who come from all over the world to study and prepare for a successful career.
What better place to study than the financial capital of Europe? Over 75% of Fortune 500 companies have offices in London and the city is home to the headquarters of more than half of the UK’s top 100 listed companies (FTSE 100) and over 100 of Europe’s largest companies. Our campus is just a 10 minute tube ride away from St Pancras Station, where you can catch the Eurostar and be in central Paris in less than 3 hours.
Our tranquil surroundings provide a haven from the fast pace of London life. Our single campus in Regent's Park, one of the most popular Royal Parks in London, is surrounded by classical style terraces and beautiful rose gardens. The Park spans over 410 acres and includes a lake, canal and a number of villas. Regent's Park is home to the London Zoo, the Royal Botanic Society and a number of other organisations and institutions. It is also the largest outdoor sports area in London.
Our Student Centre provides all kinds of non-academic information and assistance. It organises social activities including day trips and weekend trips, parties and quiz nights, as well as providing advice on health care, counselling, student discount cards and travel. RACL Counselling Service is a free, confidential service available to all students. The Student Union represents students from all schools within RACL.
The Union organises a range of clubs and societies like the Film Production, Finance and Investment, Model United Nations societies along with other initiatives such as SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise). We encourage students to get involved in the Student Union and join existing clubs and societies as well as form new ones. In addition to RACL Student Union, students also have access to the University of London's Union (ULU) and the many societies that it offers.
We have a state-of-the-art gym and offer a wide variety of evening classes such as dance, aerobics, fencing, Pilates and martial arts classes. Surrounding the campus are tennis and basketball courts, and a five-a-side football pitch. Sports teams include volleyball, basketball, football, tennis and golf.
RACL provides excellent accommodation facilities for its students, both on-campus and at off-campus sites. On-campus accommodation includes the Oliver Hall, Reid Hall and Oliver Flats. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible because of the high demand for these rooms. These halls of residence offer single, twin and triple rooms. A pantry, launderette and WiFi internet are some of the facilities offered in these halls. All the rooms are equipped with a bed, night stand, wardrobe, desks, chairs and study lamps.
The accommodation office also assists students who prefer to arrange their own accommodation outside the campus.
