Landesschule Pforta:
Landesschule Pforta is a Grade 9-12 German boarding school with a long tradition and special concept of furthering talented students in languages, music and natural sciences. Situated close to the cities of Leipzig and Naumburg in eastern Germany, instruction is through German, and every student has to choose one of three centers of interest: Foreign Languages, Music, or Natural Sciences.

Department of Music
The Department of Music was founded in 1982, but there had been a long tradition of successful choirs before. Today, the students of the Department of Music get the regular school-leaving certificate (Abitur) allowing them to study any subject at university. In addition to this the special aim of the Department of Music is to further their musical talents by a wide training and and so to make them competent and active participants of musical life.

The Department of Natural Sciences is the youngest department at Landesschule Pforta. Phorms Education is an internationally-minded private school in the Holzhausen district of Frankfurt City, in the Hesse region of West-Central Germany. We currently offer whole-day bilingual education in German and English for students at primary-school level from Grades 1 - 4 and further expansion is planned. We also work closely with the Phorms Education Taunus campus which is only 20 minutes from Frankfurt city centre and offers kindergarten, primary and secondary school programs.The curriculum taught in our private school is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Hessen. We also use the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) in the subjects English, mathematics and science.
