Paderborn, with around 150.000 inhabitants, is a historical city founded by Charlemagne in 795, situated in the state of eastern North Rhine-Westphalia (in the central Germany region), 48 km south of Bielefeld, 104 km east of Dortmund, and 147 km south-east of Hanover.

Paderborn offers a good balance between life in a bigger city and the calm of the countryside. The City, with it’s medieval origins still visible in it’s historic core, is home not only to a stunning Cathedral, but also to a modern University and the biggest computer museum in the world.

Paderborn is, as you can easily see, a place of living history and thriving future. And this principle is perfectly reflected in our bording school’s motto "A Tradition of excellence".

The supervision supports our students with managing their daily routines and getting accustomed to a foreign culture. It is our philosophy to do our part in creating a tolerant and open-minded society in a more and more globalised world, so we expect no less from our students. Of course, there is also time and opportunity to take part in several activities like sports, cultural activities or exploring the wonderful city of Paderborn and Germany.
