At The Bristol Language Centre we offer a wide range of flexible programmes, from general English courses to Cambridge examination ones, plus specially tailored Business English modules for professional use. Whatever your current level, or needs The Bristol Language Centre will find a course to suit you.
All our teachers are qualified and educated to degree level. Many of the teachers at the Bristol Language Centre have experience of living in other countries, which gives them an understanding of different cultures and an awareness of students' needs. Throughout your language course we are on hand to offer advice and academic guidance.
As a Bristol language school, we are happy to arrange host family accommodation for all our students. Staying with a host family is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your host culture and will help you practise everyday English in a real environment. Living in a warm and friendly private home is the perfect base from which to explore Bristol and your host families will be able to pass on their local knowledge to you. Our carefully selected host families live within easy access to the school and we ensure that they have comfortable homes where you will have your own bedroom and a desk to work at. We visit all our host families regularly to ensure that our high standards are maintained.

Your welfare and success matter to us
The Bristol Language Centre is a small, independent school and we pride ourselves in taking care of individual students' needs and welfare. The school has a named Welfare Officer who will assist with accommodation and welfare. She can help you with:

-Local travel
- Health
- Places of worship
- Opening a bank account
- International Student Identity Cards (ISIC)

The Bristol Language Centre is happy to arrange accommodation for all our students. Staying with a host is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your host culture and will help you practise everyday English in a real environment.

There are two options of homestay accommodation: homestay half board and homestay self-catering.

The most popular half-board option costs �115* per week and includes breakfast and an evening meal during weekdays and three meals at the weekends. The student is treated as a family member, lives in a single room and shares all the living areas in the house. The self-catering option costs �95* and doesn't include any meals; however the student can use kitchen facilities to prepare his/her own meals.

From 11 July to 6 September 2009 The Bristol Language Centre has its own residence at the Woodlands Centre. The Woodlands Centre is a convered church which is made up of 17 single rooms. The accommodation is self catering and costs �95 per week. Rooms are available for a minumum of two weeks.
