The Alliance Francaise de Lyon teaches the French Language with worldwide recognized methods. The Alliance Francaise de Lyon offers you courses throughout the year, from January to December: General French, special French courses, Workshops, outdoor classes, company classes etc. The Alliance Francaise de Lyon is also an official proficiency center for TEF, TCF, Alliance Francaise Diplomas and the Diplomas of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris.

Our Teaching method:
Before your enrolment, a written and an oral test will assess your level of French. This will allow us to place you in the most appropriate class.
· Our pedagogy focuses on the four basic skills: oral and written understanding, oral and written expression.
· Alliance Française de Lyon uses the following French Language class methods :
- Alter Ego 1 and 2, Tout Va Bien 3, home made materials (day classes) ;
- Taxi 1 , 2 and 3 (evening classes).
· The complementary Courses (workshops, language lab, oral training, etc.) are optional but they do reinforce and improve the acquired knowledges in the General French Courses. You may register only for a complementary course.
· In order that your learning of a language is efficient, you have to grasp also the historical, cultural and social context in which the language is spoken. The Alliance Française de Lyon offer you all the opportunities to widen your knowledges and your know how in the French language through plays, cinema, exhibitions, concerts, French cuisine, newspapers, French songs etc.).
· The administrative and teaching staff are at your disposal to help you during your stay. Feel free to seek for their advice regarding any educational or personal matter
Accomodation::
Alliance Francaise de Lyon will assist you in finding accommodations. Various options are available depending on your requirements and means: university lodgings, hostel, studio-flat, or Bed & Breakfast in a French host family. We organise your airport transfer.
Ludo Expression, Carcassonne

Ludo Expression is a French language school based in Carcassonne in the Languedoc-Rousillon region of southern France. Carcassonne is a beautiful and historic town famous for its medieval walled city, and is a UNESCO world heritage site.We’re a small school with one or two teachers (depending on demand), which allows us to adopt a personal and tailored approach with our students.
Our teaching takes place in very small groups (the average size is four and the maximum is six), and in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This allows us to:
- give each student time to talk and apply their new French, and the chance to participate as much as possible.
- ensure that students feel relaxed and quickly build self-confidence in the subject, as this is critical to learning.
- adapt quickly and effectively to the specific needs of each student.
We favour the development of everyday French, with a focus on oral expression and comprehension. This is supported with a progressive foundation of grammar, and we employ a variety of teaching methods to ensure our students will be able to use their language skills in a range of environments.
- Semi-intensive French course: 15 hours per week in a group, 3 hours every morning, from Monday to Friday.
- Intensive French course: 25 hours per week. Semi-intensive course in the morning + 2 hours per day of one-to-one lessons in the afternoon.

We provide a wide range of class levels and small-group workshops to ensure that each one of the students can receive a personalized education.
Dividing each level into 5 different stages: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced and Autonomous, our programs are part of the European structure of References for the French Language.
