Our facilities include 7 computer laboratories, 1 language laboratory, a dedicated on-line examination room, a large number of classrooms which are well equipped with the most advanced teaching aids – computers, audio, video and LCD equipment. This ensures a varied and stimulating learning experience. The classrooms are bright and airy and provide a conducive atmosphere for learning.

General English & Computer Training, English for Academic Purposes, Specialised English Training (IT, Medical), Short term English, Business English & Computer Training among others.

School of English Language:

Courses in English as a Foreign Language are delivered by experienced graduates and provide training at Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Lower Intermediate, Mid-Intermediate, Upper Intermediate & Advanced levels, in General English. Intermediate Business English classes are also provided

The following exams can be taken as part of a course: TIE, IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge PET & First Certificate Examination (FCE). Indeed an extra, separate 15-hour FCE course is also offered by us. Dorset College is a fully accredited centre for TOEFL iBT - our well equipped and updated Online Exam Centre is an excellent resource.

Located in a quiet suburb of Cork city, the South of Ireland Language Centre, provides the ideal ambience for those wishing to learn English during the months of June, July and August. The school is based in the Cork Institute of Technology, a modern third level college. Cork is an historic city with a rich cultural heritage. Established in 1967, we are a family run school catering for both adult and junior students of all ages. programmes are provided for. The summer courses offer fifteen hours of English tuition per week, a weekly programme of afternoon activities and full day excursions on Saturdays to scenic locations, weekend trips to Galway and/or Dublin, outdoor educational centres for activities such as sailing and canoeing and horse riding.
