Irish Music & Culture School in Ireland
Location and Facilities:
Fiddlers Retreat is based in Theresa’s family home in the heart of Loughmore Village, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Her family have lived in the village for generations and she is delighted to be able welcome guests into her home, in a farming community that is steeped in history and noted as a parish of great sports people and talented musicians.
The village itself is particularly picturesque. The ancient ruins of Loughmore Castle and the old stone mill sit on the banks of the River Suir which rises a few miles away on the Devil’s Bit mountain. The Loughmore Abbey and graveyard with its beautiful gravestone crosses are nestled in the centre of the village which also has the original water pump house that the villagers would have congregated in bygone times. The village primary school is buzzing with the sound of children, the parish hall and local pub are a hive of activity every evenings. Loughmore is now home to new and old families, a more beautiful and tranquil country setting is hard to find.

Big Moon Cottage Meditation Centre, West Cork
Courses / Programs
Big Moon Cottage Meditation Centre offers residential and non-residential meditation courses and retreats in Skibbereen, West Cork in the South of Ireland. Skibbereen is approximately 4 hours drive from Dublin and 1.5 hours drive from Cork City. Courses are held at the weekend and mid-week. Individuals and groups are welcome. We cater for a maximum of 6 people for residential courses and 10 people for the non-residential courses.The purpose of our Foundation in Meditation courses is to teach you about the background and practice of meditation in a clear, enjoyable and practical way. As a result you will be able to meditate effectively and correctly on your own by the end of the course. Your teacher Susan O'Brien has many years' experience and will guide your progress in small groups and in a very supportive and friendly environment.
In the winter season, we offer one-week residential Foundation in Meditation courses which are held in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa. This is a quiet and relaxing alternative one-week holiday sharing a beautiful villa with like-minded people. This holiday is available to meditators and non-meditators alike.

Situated in Temple Bar, the social and cultural heart of Dublin, Sound Training College (STC) provides a range of full and part-time Diploma and Certificate courses covering all aspects of Music Technology. Kerry Fiddles located in Kerry, south west of Ireland offer traditional Irish Fiddle lessons for complete beginner and intermediate adults. Even if you have never played any musical instrument before, by the end of the week you’ll be playing your first tune on the fiddle! Morning classes are a hoot, there’s no music theory, no pressure and no rush. Afternoons are free to explore the most beautiful part of Ireland. For Intermediates, it’s a chance to devote a week to your music, to getting new tunes, improving technique and learning how to teach yourself.
