Make-Up Industry Employment Opportunities:
You have chosen one of the most challenging fields to gain employment! Much of it depends on the area that you choose to go into, for example, Ireland has a great film industry for both shorts and big budget productions. Whereas photographic work is shorter in supply so you really have to work at making your contacts with the photographers and stylists.
During your course you will have the opportunity to participate in professional photo shoots enabling you to gain that essential portfolio for future employment. You will also have the opportunity to join our 'Start Your Own Business Course'. You will be taught not only about accounts, tax, customer service, branding and key contacts in the industry but also how to build your own website on a budget!
LA Make-up offers an open door policy to all students that have studied with us. This means that you can sit in on any class that you would like to brush up your skills...free of charge. This ensures that you are aware of the latest techniques and product in the industry.

One to One Lessons:
One to one lessons can be booked monday - friday where a professional make-up artist will take you through from you skin care regime right through to a beautiful daytime look. Flexible Options:
Our courses are both full and part-time. Daytime courses are from 10am-4pm and evening classes are from 6.30-9pm. They range from one day workshops to 4 month degree programs!

Fiddlers Retreat, in Tipperary (90 minutes from Dublin), Ireland, is the only traditional Irish Music and Culture school of its kind in Ireland. Burren College of Art is an internationally recognised not-for-profit independent college specialising in undergraduate and graduate fine art education. The Digital Media and Arts Research Centre is an internationally-recognised leader in advanced music technology education and research and is part of The University of Limerick, Ireland. The Music Technology course hosts a high spec studio facility, with a surround sound post production suite, a recording studio with live room and a composition suite. Top of the range Pro Tools systems, a host of high quality outboard effects, numerous top end microphones and a grand piano give students access to the some highest level equipment available. In addition, Apple imac computers fill a lab where students use industry standard programmes like Logic Pro and Digital Performer as well as more esoteric programmes like Max/msp, Csound, Audiosculpt and OpenMusic.
