Located in Temple Bar, the social and cultural heart of Dublin, Sound Training College (STC) provides a range of full and part-time courses covering all aspects of Music Technology. We provide day, evening and weekend courses covering all aspects of Music Production, Sound Engineering, Recording, Live Sound, and other fields of study.

STC is located in one of the most popular tourist and cultural areas of Dublin - Temple Bar. The college is surrounded by a huge collections of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and art galleries.

Other facilities including Apollo and Sun recording studios, PC lab, research lab, practical lab and Protools lab are located just opposite the Music Centre on Temple Lane.

Set up by Joe Dowling in 1986 due to the lack of availability of actor training in Ireland at the time, the school has since gone from strength to strength and now runs a wide range of courses for all ages.
