The Italian class, London:
Learn Italian in Charterhouse Street, Islington, north London near Liverpool Street, with small group lessons based on the communicative approach. Our lessons are based the direct conversation method and the students are encouraged to speak the language from the beginning. Our linguistic approach is based on games and oral activities such as role plays, listening tasks, open dialogues, fixation exercises, vocabulary fixation games. Students can try one lessons at cost and then purchase the remaining of the course -minimum commitment is 10 sessions. Lessons are flexible and can be rescheduled with at least 24 hour notice. Professional Italian tutors teach the language using multimedia material in an interactive way. Students learn grammar and vocabulary while speaking the language from the first lesson. We serve most areas in central London, we cover zone 1, zone 2 and zone 3. Tutors will be happy to travel to offices and private houses when accessible by public transport.

We employ only native speakers. All our tutors are graduated from a leading university and have a teaching certificate or have been teaching for at least 1 year. All visiting tutors are CRB or police cleared. We are not a language agency but a language school. We continuously train our teacher following the DITALS directives. DITALS is a teaching certificate and training course created by Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Our Italian learning material (books and multimedia):
We have spent time investigating the best material for our students. We actually import the books from a particular publisher in Italy. In this way we make sure that we are using teaching material that has been created by language professionals. All our students get access to our learn Italian podcast to support their learning. All our courses are supported by multimedia such as audio and video material.
