Location and Facilities:
As a location we chose Genoa: it has a mild climate, which is partly because of its location on the coast. Genova has all the facilities and services of a city, but still has the traits of a village. Its close proximity to France, the Alps mountain range and to cultural centres such as Florence, Milan and Pisa add to Genoa's appeal as a place to visit. Genova has a rich cultural history and boasts having the biggest medieval city centre in Europe, recently included in the Unesco list of protected heritage. By European standards the cost in Genoa is affordable and provides great value.
Accommodation:
Scuola Tricolore offers all sorts of accommodation. We work in alliance with reliable partners or directly with owners. We always try to negotiate some discounts for you, while maintaining the quality. All accomodations have been personally selected by the school. Scuola Tricolore does not assign accommodation, but instead will offer some options available based on your preferences indicated.
We maintain three objectives when it comes to accommodation:
- a good price/quality,
- located in the city centre or adjacent the city centre (max. 30 minutes from school)
- preference to cluster students as much as possible, so you get acquainted with your fellow students.

Located in Alghero on the North West coast of Sardinia, the Centro Mediterraneo Pintadera offers Italian language and culture courses all year round. From the very beginning, we take language out of the classroom and onto the streets of Alghero. We also offer a special Vacationer's Course - AllegraMente is for visitors here only a short time and its purpose is to teach basic notions of Italian, to ease communications with locals, in restaurants, bars and shops, to gain more insight as to the way of life in Alghero, and just generally for a more enjoyable holiday.
Our Italian language courses are small in size, max. 8 persons and we offer a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for the learning of Italian and familiarising with this country's culture. Established in 1975, Bertrand Russell Italian School offers Italian language courses in Padua, Northern Italy to students from around the world. Padua (called Padova in Italian) is located 40 km west of Venice and it's international airport. Our school is the perfect venue for those who wish to study or improve their Italian. We offer group courses throughout the year at four levels - beginner, intermediate, advanced and superior. Our courses last for four weeks but students can choose to study for longer if they wish.
We also offer individual lessons for students with special time or study requirements, and university admission bridging and foundation courses for foreign students who wish to attend University in Italy and need to pass the admission test.
We have a very straightforward teaching method: our classes are made of small groups of students, with skilled teachers with several years experience in teaching Italian. The teachers are always present in the classroom and they are usually able to create a warm and friendly relationship with their students.
- 4-week Italian courses at 4 study levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced and superior. Lessons are held from Monday to Friday and from 9.00 to 13.00 for a total of 80 hours. Non-beginners may enter a course after the commencement date.
