Location and Facilities:
As a location we chose Genoa: it has a mild climate, which is partly because of its location on the coast. Genova has all the facilities and services of a city, but still has the traits of a village. Its close proximity to France, the Alps mountain range and to cultural centres such as Florence, Milan and Pisa add to Genoa's appeal as a place to visit. Genova has a rich cultural history and boasts having the biggest medieval city centre in Europe, recently included in the Unesco list of protected heritage. By European standards the cost in Genoa is affordable and provides great value.
Accommodation:
Scuola Tricolore offers all sorts of accommodation. We work in alliance with reliable partners or directly with owners. We always try to negotiate some discounts for you, while maintaining the quality. All accomodations have been personally selected by the school. Scuola Tricolore does not assign accommodation, but instead will offer some options available based on your preferences indicated.
We maintain three objectives when it comes to accommodation:
- a good price/quality,
- located in the city centre or adjacent the city centre (max. 30 minutes from school)
- preference to cluster students as much as possible, so you get acquainted with your fellow students.

Our Italian language courses have a duration of minimum 2 weeks up to 48 weeks and the prices are competitive. Starting dates are every week (except for beginners who can start every two weeks). Our classes allow a maximum of 12 students per class and only 5 for our small group courses.
Our school in Florence occupies an entire 3 floor building and has 18 spacious and luminous classrooms. The ground floor is dedicated to the recreational area where you can read the newspapers, have a coffee with your fellow students or do your homework. On the first floor, you can find the classrooms, the secretary office, the multimedia classroom and the free internet point.
