Our Midtown Manhattan and Upper West Side English language schools are accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) through December 2018.
NYLC is certified as an English Language School by the New York State Education Department. In addition, New York Language Center is a member of ALTO.

English Courses in Manhattan:
We teach students with all levels of English - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. You may study with us for as little as one week or as long as one full year.
NYLC is authorized by the U.S. Department of Immigration to enroll non-immigrant foreign students.
F1 visa / I-20 students are accepted at NYLC in any Intensive Language Program of English. You will receive a certificate on successful completion of your course. We offer:

NYLC's school in Midtown is just steps from Times Square and Penn Station. It has a modern student lounge with internet access.
In our Midtown Manhattan English school, we offer weekday morning, afternoon, and evening English classes. It is open on weekdays from 8:30 am to 7 pm.
- Upper West Side Location:
Our English school is located in the center of the Upper West Side, a very lively and friendly neighborhood close to Columbia University. Riverside Park and Central Park are both only a short walk away.
This area is filled with many shops and restaurants housed in handsome pre-war buildings. At this location, we offer weekday, evening, and weekend English classes.
