UC has one of the highest employment rates for graduates in Australia. The University currently has enrolled approximately 10,000 students from some 90 countries. Its main source of international students is the Asia-Pacific region, but students also come from Africa, North & South America, the Middle East and Europe. About 60 percent of the current student population is aged under 25 years, and 55 percent of the enrolments are women. Approximately 37 per cent study part-time, while around 20 percent are enrolled in postgraduate courses.

There are more than nine thousand full time students, working towards undergraduate Bachelors Degrees and Diplomas, and Graduate Certificates, Diplomas, Masters degrees or Doctorates. UC offers full-time & part-time courses at undergraduate & graduate level. Courses are offered by Schools organised within UC's three Academic Divisions: 1. Business, Law & Information Sciences, 2. Communication & Education, and 3. Health, Design & Science.

Accommodation:

- The University has on-campus student accommodation for over 1,000 young people from Australia and abroad. New student accommodation blocks are currently under construction.
