  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Stay informed about changes in tax laws that may impact the company. Work with external tax professionals as needed.
  • Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information. Collaborate with auditors to address any inquiries and ensure a smooth audit.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Create efficiency, workflows, approval matrix, and guardrails for financial/accounting processes and transactions.
  • Efficiently manage inventory, oversee purchase order processing, IMS functions, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial records.
  • Collaborate with operational teams, facilitating forecasting, KPI reviews, and seamless coordination between IMS and SalesForce for streamlined inventory processes.
  • Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel/other relevant accounting and financial tools/software.
  • Experience in a startup environment is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Knowledge of sustainable business practices is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
