Tennessee Tech's ESL Program FLS International:
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville (80 miles east of Nashville) TN, in the Southeastern United States, is ranked among the “Top Public Universities” and as one of the Best Universities in the South. The ESL (English as a Second Language) program at TTU is offered by FLS International, a leader in providing high quality English language programs to international students. Our accredited ESL program consists of 9 levels of ESL instruction, and students who complete level 7 can enter TTU's Undergraduate program.
Super Intensive English Program:
- 40 lessons of live instruction per week.
Our program places an exceptional emphasis on speaking. Students practice speaking skills frequently in class, receiving regular guidance and correction from their instructor. Nine levels of study are available from low beginner to high advanced. Small class sizes of 15 or less, guarantee individual attention from your teacher.
Intensive English Program:
- 30 lessons (25 hours) of instruction per week
Your teacher will work with you for the entire 30 lessons! Unlike other programs, our IEP does not count ‘lab hours’ or other independent study periods as lessons. Elective Class devoted to a specific topic or skill, such as TOEFL, Slang, Business English, American Culture, Public Speaking, Grammar, Composition, and more are included.
Semi-Intensive English Program:
Our Semi-Intensive Program offers coverage of fundamental English skills and free time to enjoy the many attractions near our Tennessee campus. Students can get away to the beautiful countryside with trips to Music City/ Nashvillle, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and numerous local scenic areas such as Burgess Falls State Park.
One to One Tutoring / Private English Lessons:
For students with special needs or interests, FLS offers private tutorial lessons. The student enjoys personal attention and the flexibility to create their own program and schedule. The student’s first lesson is free, in order to insure satisfaction with the tutor.
