Tennessee Tech's ESL Program FLS International:
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville (80 miles east of Nashville) TN, in the Southeastern United States, is ranked among the “Top Public Universities” and as one of the Best Universities in the South. The ESL (English as a Second Language) program at TTU is offered by FLS International, a leader in providing high quality English language programs to international students. Our accredited ESL program consists of 9 levels of ESL instruction, and students who complete level 7 can enter TTU's Undergraduate program.

About Us:
FLS is a leader in providing high quality English language programs to international students. The FLS program teaches you to speak English in the same way you learned your native language - through listening, speaking and doing. Whether you’re looking for an Academic Year Abroad Program, a lively summer tour with surfing, study and sightseeing or a short Intensive English Program to prepare you for college entrance, FLS has the program for you.

Homestay Accommodation:
Homestays are the perfect place for trying out new English skills and adjusting to life in America in a friendly, helpful environment. Many of our students make American friends they keep in touch with long after their English program is over. FLS Host Families are carefully chosen from safe and attractive neighborhoods near the FLS centers. Our housing staff visits and interviews each family and insures that the family provides a clean, welcoming home environment for students.

Location:
TTU is situated in Cookeville, Tennessee in the Southeastern United States. Cokeville is a growing town with a population of 25,000, and offers students a combination of small town charm with easy access to scenic woods and short drives to busy metro areas. Nearby Nashville (one hour by car), known as Music City USA, is the ultimate destination for music fans worldwide, with such iconic attractions as the Grand Ole Opry, historic Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

On the weekend, students can get away to the beautiful countryside with trips to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and numerous local scenic areas such as Burgess Falls State Park.
