Tennessee Tech University Office of International Education and ESL:
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville (80 miles east of Nashville) TN, in the Southeastern United States, is ranked among the “Top Public Universities” and as one of the Best Universities in the South. The ESL (English as a Second Language) program at TTU is offered by FLS International, a leader in providing high quality English language programs to international students. Our accredited ESL program consists of 9 levels of ESL instruction, and students who complete level 7 can enter TTU's Undergraduate program.


Location and Facilities:

 

TTU is situated in Cookeville, a growing town with a population of 25,000, and offers students a combination of small town charm with easy access to scenic woods and short drives to busy metro areas. Nearby Nashville (one hour by car), known as Music City USA, is the ultimate destination for music fans worldwide, with such iconic attractions as the Grand Ole Opry, historic Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

On the weekend, students can get away to the beautiful countryside with trips to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and numerous local scenic areas such as Burgess Falls State Park.
