Albert Einstein International School, Amsterdam:
Located in Amsterdam in The Netherlands, Albert Einstein International School (AEIS) is an independent day & boarding school serving students aged between 3 - 18 years of age. We are a modern co-educational school which prides itself on our outstanding education, focused on Science, Languages, Art, and individual attention to our students. We provide an international education that emphasizes academic excellence within a caring community from kindergarten through twelfth grade students from all countries, including a limited number of Dutch students. Academic Programmes:
AEIS is an independent school, which prides itself on an outstanding education, focused on Science, Languages and Art and individual attention. Our global aim is to offer high quality education in small classes. The school is divided into 3 sections:

- International Primary Curriculum (ages 3 to 12)
- Secondary Curriculum (ages 11 to 16)
- A-Level College / CLEP / AP courses (ages 16+). Leading to university entrance. Minimum of 3 A-Levels required 

International Primary Curriculum (Years 1-8):
AEIS now uses the International Primary Curriculum. The children also follow the curriculum outlined in Key Stages 1 and 2 covering a wide range of core-skills and subjects including English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Music, Visual Arts and Physical Education.

Secondary curriculum:
In the first three years of Secondary (often known as Key Stage 3) all students follow a broad curriculum of general academic subjects. The core curriculum for years 9, 10 and 11 consists of the following subjects: English; German; Dutch; Spanish; French; Mathematics; Science; Geography; History; ICT; Citizenship; Physical education

At the end of year 11 the curriculum content becomes more specific as students begin a two-year programme (Key Stage 4) leading to IGCSE examinations.

A-Level curriculum:
Students can choose the number of A-Levels they study and should the need arise it is also possible to re-take individual subjects and even individual units within these subjects. All A-Level courses are run over 2 years with AS exams being taken at the end of year 1 and A2 exams at the end of year 2. 

Subjects are offered according to student preferences and may include (other subjects may be available on demand): Business and Economics; English Language and Literature; Geography; History; Psychology; Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Biology; Italian; Spanish; German; Dutch; Chinese; Japanese.

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program®):
CLEP gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 33 examinations. CLEP is offered to students from the age of 14. CLEP helps people demonstrate their college-level knowledge and earn college credit — regardless of where or how they acquired the knowledge. People of a wide range of ages and from all walks of life have benefited from earning credit through CLEP over the years. AEIS encourages students to obtain at least 12 CLEP-credits. 12 CLEP-credits(four per exam) are transferable to the ALB programme at Harvard university or more to other universities.
