Dutch for Beginners:
If you're a complete beginner, Dutch can sound a bit like a nasty throat condition and that is because many of the sounds are totally different to those of your own language. After you have mastered the sounds, you will find that the rest is a matter of learning and practice. Therefore the course for beginners always begins with Sounds. After that, the aim is to concentrate on becoming familiar with common Dutch words and phrases you will encounter in everyday life.
In the beginning, there will be a certain amount of basic grammatical learning to do and however tedious that might seem for the busy professional, it's the only way to make good progress later.

Advanced Dutch:
Our more advanced Dutch classes are aimed at ex-pats or students who already have a basic knowledge of Dutch. It's possible you already speak some Dutch and can understand quite a lot of what you hear but are still frustrated when the Dutch revert to English, 'to help you out'. You may also struggle with the more formal language of official forms and letters; or want to be able to read Dutch newspapers or books. You may find that whereas you can communicate orally and follow a conversation, when it comes to writing letters or e-mails, you discover that written Dutch is an entirely different ball game.
Whatever the reasons, our lessons in more advanced Dutch, will help you improve your skills in whichever areas you wish. One to one, or in small groups, we will help you develop what you already know and improve your self-confidence so that living here becomes a much more fulfilling and pleasurable experience.

Our Dutch language courses usually take 24 hours to complete, spread over 4 – 14 weeks. At the end of the course, you receive a Certificate of Attendance if you have attended at least 80% of the program. We also offer private Dutch lessons and corporate Dutch language training.
In all Kickstart courses, except for the exam courses, the emphasis placed is on verbal communication during the lesson. Writing can be part of the home work. In the exam courses, we also spend lesson time on writing. Listening exercises are an integral part of all lessons.
The ideal / maximum group size is 8 for day groups, and between 8 to 10 students for evening groups. For Au Pair groups, we take 10-12 students.
