Benefits of Creative Classes for Kids:

-  Impacting on Children's Lives
Main Street School of Art Founder Laurie Morrison believes that early creative learning experiences are important and gaining art skills can have a real impact on children’s personal lives that goes beyond an art role.

-  Improving Self-Confidence
Children love making things that mean something, and being good at art gives children a sense of self confidence that is carried with them throughout the rest of their lives.

-  Creative & Divergent Thinking
Art classes foster creative and divergent thinking capacities, self-expression, gross and fine motor skills, social skills, listening, problem solving, tolerance, imagination, risk taking, and uniqueness — as well as empowering a child’s self-esteem.
