IELTS Preparation Centre in the heart of Sydney's central business district is a dedicated IELTS test preparation centre offering intensive part-time courses for both the Academic and General Training IELTS tests. Our team of qualified and highly experienced IELTS examiners will cover all aspects of the test and assist you in achieving your best possible band scores.
IELTS Test Information:
The IELTS test grades your proficiency in English. It is recognised by professional organisations and educational institutions worldwide and is the current pathway for entry to tertiary institutions and permanent residency applications in Australia. The IELTS test consists of two Modules:
- The Academic Module - for people who want to study an undergraduate or postgraduate course, or for professional reasons.
- The General Training Module - for people who want to follow a non-academic course or used as a measure of language ability for immigration purposes.
Both modules consist of four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking tests but the Reading and Writing tests are different for the Academic and General modules.
Our courses teach you how to:
- write an effective response for Writing Task 1 and Task 2
- deal with different question types in the Reading test
- listen for relevant information & answer different question types in the Listening test
- respond appropriately to various question types in the Speaking test

IPC (Sydney), currently offers Classes on:
- Monday to Thursday 10am - 2.30pm over 1 week (16 hours)
- Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm over 4 weeks (16 hours total)
- Saturday 10am - 2.30pm over 4 weekends (16 hours total)
