High School Programs in Australia for International Students

Taylors College:
Taylors College is a premier private college with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, Australia. We provide the final three years of Australian high school / secondary school education (Years 10, 11 and 12) to international students from around the world. Please note that Taylors College is not a boarding school and does not provide a boarding program. Our students stay in student residence accommodation or in a homestay with a local host family.

All Taylors campuses are independently accredited by the appropriate government bodies overseeing standards in educational delivery. All are inspected regularly for quality assurance.

Australian High School Programs:
Taylors College delivers the individual state qualification programs for Melbourne, Perth and Sydney:

- Melbourne: Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
- Sydney: Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- Perth: Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)

Years 10-12 programs are offered in Sydney and Melbourne. In Perth, only Years 10-11 programs are offered. You can study a wide variety of subjects to achieve your academic qualification. In Years 11 and 12, there is a choice of subject areas in addition to core subjects. 

Assessment is by a combination of course work throughout the academic year and final exams. The formal qualifications achieved at the end of the program allow you to apply to any university you want.

Melbourne:
Taylors College Melbourne is located on Lonsdale Street, less than 100 metres from the Victorian Supreme Court buildings. Perth:
Taylors College Perth is based on The University of Western Australia’s campus in the exclusive suburb of Claremont. The capital city of Western Australia, Perth provides all the facilities of a major modern city while offering a safe, clean and friendly environment. It has the reputation of being Australia’s friendliest city as well as being the sunniest of all Australia’s capitals. Perth is characterised by its Victorian architecture, museums, art galleries, street cafes, food markets, marinas and good fishing.

Homestay Accommodation:
Homestay accommodation with a local host family is a popular option for international students and is available in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Students live with a carefully-selected Australian family as their paying guest. All of our homestay families have police clearance and their homes are inspected before students are placed.

Living with a homestay host can be an invaluable part of an international student’s learning experience in Australia, and enjoyable and rewarding for both the student and the host family.
