Loreto Normanhurst is a Catholic, independent boarding and day school for girls from Years 7-12. It was established as a boarding school in 1897. Loreto Normanhurst is one of the many schools throughout the world under the care of the Loreto Sisters (IBVM) and it is one of the seven Loreto schools in Australia. Set in spacious grounds on the edge of bushland, the school is a pleasant mix of historic and modern buildings. The school’s facilities incorporate the traditional, heritage buildings that house our 188 country boarders to our state of the art facilities for Science and Integrated learning.
Other facilities of note, include the Chapel erected in 1953 and the Learning Resource Centre built in 2000. Our ovals, tennis and basketball courts, gymnasium and Aquatic Centre with a 25 metre indoor swimming pool make up the superb facilities that support our 900 day and boarding students.

Taylors College

Calrossy Anglican School

Calrossy is an Anglican Day and Boarding Secondary School for girls located in Tamworth, Northern New South Wales. It has one of the largest boarding enrolments among NSW girls' boarding schools. There are full-time, fortnightly and weekly boarders. They arrive from overseas, Sydney, the NSW central and north coast but most from central and north-west NSW. The school's location in Tamworth means many families in central and northwest NSW have their daughters close to home. Students who live further away can travel quickly and easily using the regular daily services provided by air services, Country Link trains and buses. Calrossy is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Calrossy requires overseas students to arrange a local guardian with whom to stay during free weekends and term vacations. Students cannot remain at school during these scheduled holidays. Calrossy requires overseas applicants, for whom English is NOT their first language, to complete an English proficiency test after their application is received.
