The Orme School:
The Orme School, located in Orme (halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff), Arizona, Southwestern USA, is an accredited college preparatory boarding school for girls and boys offering grades K - 12 (day) and 8 - 12 (boarding). The Orme School is a unique community of teachers and students who share a passion for academic excellence, adventure, and personal challenge. The Orme School is located near the geographic enter of Arizona, about halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff and 3 miles off Interstate 17. It is located along Ash Creek in the high country of central Arizona, an area of striking natural beauty. And yet, Orme is not isolated. The bustling metropolis of Phoenix, and the charming towns of Prescott, Sedona, and Flagstaff are close enough that some students commute to school daily. They provide regular cultural and recreational opportunities. The campus itself occupies half a square mile (125 hectares). It has tall trees, green lawns, flowery gardens, and historic nineteenth-century ranch buildings.

The Orme School is near the geographic enter of Arizona, about halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff and 3 miles off Interstate 17. Please note that the School is not in Mayer, which is merely the nearest post office. (Mayer is 20 miles away on a different highway.)
From Phoenix:
•Head north on I-17 for about 1 hour.
•Take Exit 268, Orme-Dugas Road (about 5 miles past the Cordes Junction/Prescott turn-off).
•Go west (left) under the freeway. The pavement ends shortly.
•Follow the Orme School signs, bearing right at two junctions.
•This 3 mile graded earth road (well traveled) crosses a bridge and leads to the center of campus.
From Prescott:
•Head south on Hwy 69 for about 45 minutes to I-17.
•Go north on I-17 for about 5 miles.
•Take Exit 268, the Orme-Dugas Road.
•Go West (left) under the freeway. The pavement ends shortly.
•Follow the Orme School signs, bearing right at two junctions.
•This 3 mile graded earth road (well traveled) crosses a bridge and leads to the center of campus.
From Flagstaff:
•Head south on I-17 for about 1 hour.

White River Academy
Courses / Programs
White River Academy is an all boys boarding school for troubled teens ages 13-17 in Delta, Utah, which is a small farming community about 2 ½ hours from Salt Lake City. We are a small family oriented campus, and are able to spend more time with each student and make sure their problems do not go un-noticed.
All students participate in a rigorous daily schedule consisting of emotional growth, Positive Peer Culture group sessions, self-esteem building, goal setting and goal review sessions, service projects, daily chores, life skills and independent living such as cooking and cleaning.
Students also participate in Individual Therapy twice per month and once per month the counselor discusses updated goals and objectives with the family.
Students are in class six days a week so as to sharpen academic skills in many of the basic courses like Math, Science, English, History and more.
Our goal is to offer an opportunity where the family as a whole can participate in assisting their loved one to accomplish the goals that have been established within the program.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from New Mexico and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

Spring Ridge Academy is an all-girls therapeutic boarding school serving students ages 13 - 17 in grades 9-12 in Spring Valley AZ (18 miles southeast of Prescott). Spring Ridge combines an empowering emotional growth program with a sophisticated therapeutic approach and a rigorous college prep curriculum with AP courses and SAT prep. Arivaca Boys Ranch Academy

The Arivaca Boys Ranch is a 10-month boarding school program specifically designed to therapeutically help troubled teenage boys throughout the Southwest. Situated in Arivaca AZ, 60 miles south of Tucson, the ranch serves 40-50 boys, ages 14 to 18, on a 23,000 acre, 140-year-old ranch. At our ranch, using horses as a therapeutic tool (equine therapy), each boy has the opportunity to experience the rewards of hard work and ranch life while continuing his high school education.

Located in Gunnison, Central Utah, Fieldstone Academy Boarding School is a co-educational boarding school that specializes in College Prep and Academic Catch-up programs. Fieldstone is not a school for students with serious behavioral issues, but is commonly described as a "school for good kids who have gotten off track."
