Our classes are designed to be adapted to your level, your availability, your rhythm, and are oriented to suit your needs (conversation, listening comprehension, business-oriented vocabulary and expressions, meetings, interviews, specialised vocabulary, telephone, grammar, etc.).
Emphasis is mostly laid on everyday spoken language. However, grammar and language structures are also taught and practised. The number of students is limited to ensure that everyone takes an active part. This is also why we test the basic knowledge of each applicant in order for him or her to join one of our five levels.

Alliance Francaise De Bruxelles-Europe

The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe is located in the center of Brussels and is the only place in Brussels where you can get one of the French language certificates that are known worldwide : TCF (the French TOEFL), DELF or DALF. A good return on investment! Upon registration a placement test will enable us to find your appropriate course level. In our school you can begin or end a course when you like - no need to wait until the next session!

Direct Dutch, The Hague, Netherlands

The Direct Dutch institute, founded in 1985, is situated near the centre of The Hague, Netherlands, only a few minutes away from Laan van NOI Station. Direct Dutch provides effective courses for Belgian students wishing to experience total Dutch language immersion in Holland and foreigners from around the world who wish to acquire an active command of Dutch while staying in the Netherlands. Belgian students can travel quickly and conveniently to The Hague by train: it only takes 1 hour, 26 mins from Antwerp and 2 hours, 5 mins from Brussels to travel to The Hague by InterCity train. We use the direct method, which means that we try to speak Dutch as much as possible during the lessons. (Since some aspects of the grammar will be explained in English, it is important that participants of beginners courses have a basic knowledge of English). Whatever you want to learn Dutch for professional or personal reasons, our Dutch courses will help to make you an insider rather than an outsider in The Netherlands.
