The Greenwood School:
The Greenwood School, located in Putney, southeastern Vermont, is a pre-preparatory boarding and day school for boys ages 9-14 who have been diagnosed with: dyslexia; specific language-based learning disabilities / learning differences (LD); receptive language and/or expressive language deficits; executive functioning deficits; attentional difficulties (ADD or ADHD); disorders of written expression; dysgraphia; or speech and language needs.

Our goal is to facilitate the development of self-confidence and to provide our students with the academic foundation necessary for them to reach their true potential and enjoy a successful experience in higher education.

Vermont Academy
Courses / Programs
Located in Saxtons River in Windham County VT, Vermont Academy is a private, co-educational, college preparatory school, primarily boarding in nature, for Grades 9-12 and post graduate. We are one hr and thirty minutes from Hartford, CT and two and a half hrs from New York.

Our students are constantly challenged in the classrooms, on the athletic fields, and in the community as a whole. We believe in setting the bar high while also securing a safety net to catch those who fall short of their goals.

It is in the effort of trying that growth is made, and our faculty and staff are devoted to fostering a “try and try again” approach to success. Students come from a variety of countries from around the world, including Canada, the Bahamas, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Korea, China and Japan.

Our dormitories have a mixture or international and American students, so that everyone can learn about different cultures and lifestyles.

Brewster Academy is a a co-educational boarding and day school for Grades 9-12 that focuses on technology. Located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (2 hours north of Boston), we provide students with the academic, personal, and social skills necessary for success in a university or college, and for life.

Our curriculum, delivered using best practice methodologies, aims to maximize retention of skills and content through a collaborative, student-centered, mastery-learning program.

It is recommended that students enroll in the most challenging courses possible and, where appropriate, elect Advanced Placement and accelerated levels. Brewster graduates record more than a 95 percent retention rate from their freshman to sophomore year in college compared to the national average of about 75 percent.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)
Courses / Programs
Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Vermont and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.

Located in Plymouth County MA, Chamberlain International School is a co-educational therapeutic boarding and day school, serving students ages 11-22 from Massachusetts, across the United States, and throughout the world.

We offer college preparatory and general education courses to both middle and high school students. As well as academics, Chamberlain offers on-campus diagnostic programming, individual therapy, psychiatric services, therapeutic groups, nursing care, and family therapy.

Chamberlain is co-educational with 98 boarding and 20 day students, typically 60/40 males to females. Students range in age from 11-22 and are in Grades 6-12. Some students stay beyond Grade 12 to participate in a transition program which may involve an apprentice program, college studies or both.

Chamberlain's students have a wide range of challenges, interests, insights, and potential. We have a 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio. Like everyone working at Chamberlain, teachers are profoundly committed to providing a great school experience for students who need strong support.
