Co-Ed Boarding & Day School for Students in Grades 9-12:
While the Academy's collection of nearly 220 courses, 40 athletic teams and 60 organized clubs and activities provides a full range of opportunities, there is a clearly defined core academic curriculum required of every St. Johnsbury Academy student. Our core curriculum, offered at as many as four different levels of difficulty (including 21 Advanced Placement courses), guarantees that you enjoy a broad and deep academic program.

Our elective program includes more than 30 courses in the fine and performing arts; 16 technical, engineering (STeM), pre-professional, and computer science programs; five foreign languages; and a variety of other courses for personal fulfillment and academic enrichment.

Diploma Requirements:
In order to be granted a diploma by St. Johnsbury Academy, a student must complete four years of study, and accumulate 26 credits.

Cardigan Mountain School (CMS) is an accredited boarding and day middle school for boys in grades 6-9 located in Canaan, New Hampshire in the New England region of the northeastern United States. Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18.

We welcome students from Massachusetts, across the U.S., and students from around the world (TWAI is authorized to issue 1-20's for international students).

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
