Palisades Montessori Center:
Palisades Montessori Center is a private Montessori School in Pacific Palisades on the Westside of Los Angeles, CA, offering programs to children ages two through to six years. Palisades Montessori Center is a small, cozy environment, promoting a sense of comfort and community among both its students and its families. The school building, originally designed by Lloyd Wright over thirty years ago, is spacious, cheerful and cloaked in natural light. Our large, beautiful, fully shaded playground with state of the art equipment allows for much fun, physical development and social interaction.

Palisades Montessori Center is committed to providing a loving, safe and nurturing enviroment for its students. Through a program which focuses on individual learning, independence skills, respect for self, others and immediate enviroment, social, emotional, creative and physical growth, we aim to witness the release of each child’s ultimate potential.

Our Philosophy:
At Palisades Montessori Center, we pride ourselves on being a progressive Montessori Center. Under the guidance of highly trained Montessori accredited teachers, students at PMC gain self esteem, self reliance and self discipline in a trusting, loving atmosphere.

Montessori Programs (For Children Ages 2 - 6 Years):

- Toddlers Half Day program:  9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Toddlers Full Day program:  9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Full Day program:  9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Extended Care program:  7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

School History:
Palisades Montessori Center opened its doors over twenty years ago to a small group of pre-schoolers, ages two through six. Dedicated to following the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, Italy’s first female physician and expert in child development, the school’s popularity grew. Today, it is a positive force and renowned center of early childhood education in the Pacific Palisades community and throughout the Westside of Los Angeles.

Small Fry Dance Club offers a preschool dance program in Foster City in San Mateo County, CA. Our dance program is designed to give young students a survey style class that covers basics in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and yoga. Our goal is to help each student find a place for dance in their life. No matter what the degree of each child's dance goals, discovering movement should be nothing but empowering. Through dance, Small Fry teaches children to be creative, physically fit, flexible, confident, and artistic.

Small Fry Dance Club was founded by Jana Chapeton in early 2007. We have had 1,000 plus students come through the program at over 20 different schools. We have also been nominated as "Best Dance School" by Best of The Bay TV (2009).

All of our teachers have extensive education and experience teaching dance, performance, and motor skills to preschool and school age students. Twice a year, Small Fry dancers have the chance to participate in our company performances. Our shows are a great chance for the dancers to gain experience performing, while sharing their progress in weekly dance class with friends and family.
