Canadian Language Centre is located in Toronto, Canada's largest and most exciting city. As part of our commitment to providing excellence to you, we offer programs with a maximum class size of 12 students to ensure the best learning experience possible. PT 15 - General Intensive English Course (Part-time) - 15 hours per week
3 hours per class (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.)
Ideally suited for people with less study time in the morning or afternoon class. This program is perfect for students who want to have plenty of time to discover Toronto while studying English! The Course focuses on many English language skills. Students will improve their listening, reading, writing and speaking fluency daily. Students will practice their 'English only' language with classmates inside the classroom for 3 hours each day.

FT 30 - Intensive English Course (Full-Time) - 30 hours per week
This course focuses on many English language skills. Students will improve their listening, reading, writing and speaking fluency daily. They will also practice their 'English only' language with classmates inside the classroom for 5 hours each day. After classes and during break periods, students can use our computer lab or self-study materials. Students will also have many opportunities to practice English in real-life situations outside the classroom.

SYP - Summer Youth Program - 2 weeks or 4 weeks
This all-inclusive program offers youth (ages 13-19) the opportunity to live and learn English in Canada. Our package combines English language classes with fun-filled activities in our beautiful and exciting city Toronto. For a truly international experience, this program will group students together from various countries all over the world. All students will write an assessment test at the beginning of the program and at the end of every week to check their progress. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a report card and a Canadian Language Centre study certificate that lists their accomplishments.
Youth Program Includes:
• Homestay (room and board with 3 meals daily)
• Course tuition and materials
• Two-way airport transfers
• Health Insurance
• Activities – CN Tower, sporting events, Toronto Island and walking tours, Niagara Falls, ROM museum, Canada’s Wonderland, Ontario Science Centre, Ontario Place, movies etc.

TFL 20 - TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - 20 hours per week, minimum 4 weeks
This course focuses on many English language skills. Students will improve their listening, reading, writing and speaking fluency daily. Students will practice their 'English only' language with classmates inside the classroom for 4 hours each day. An important focus in this course is comprehension. Specialized assignments will aid in the development of this skill. A language test will be given daily to help students practice and prepare to take the TOEFL exam.

TFLiBT 30 - TOEFL and PT Intensive English - 30 hours per week
Students who enroll in this program will study both English and TOEFL iBT. In the intensive English Program, classroom activities concentrate on developing all language skills. The TOEFL iBT preparation program covers the four areas of the TOEFL iBT that present the greatest challenge for ESL students: writing, reading, speaking and listening to improve your score in the minimum amount of time.

BE 20 - Business English (Writing, reading and speaking) - 20 hours per week, minimum 4 weeks
This course focuses on many English language skills. Students will improve their listening, reading, writing and speaking fluency daily. Students will practice their 'English only' language with classmates inside the classroom for 4 hours each day. Students must pass a Business English exam at course end to receive a Business English Certificate.
An extensive focus on business topics including:
* Marketing
* Financial detail
* Politics
* Administration
* Business Manners
* Economics
Students will spend time role playing, negotiating, expressing their opinions and completing various administration tasks (writing letters, memos and interviewing potential employees). Classroom presentations allow students the opportunity to put their skills into practice.
Course Requirements:
High Intermediate or Advanced certificate or TOEFL score of 145.

Length of Study: Minimum 4 weeks - also offered 8, 12 weeks, 20 hours/week
TESOL Certificate Program
This course is designed specifically for international students who wish to teach English in their own countries. The course involves the theory of teaching and how to apply it, classroom management and lesson planning, presentation and practice techniques for grammar, listening, comprehension, reading, vocabulary, pronunciation and lesson observation and teaching. All students registered in the course will be required to teach a section of a class at Canadian Language Centre.
Pre-requisite: Intermediate level of English or higher
Offered: Every 6 weeks 09:00am to 4:00 pm (30hrs /week)
