Intensive Integrated English Program
This course has a total of 8 Levels

- Beginners 1 and 2

A Placement test will be conducted prior to the course to gauge the appropriate level of the student.

This course offers integrated skills with an emphasis on improving English proficiency and understanding of Canadian culture. It includes continued practice in listening, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar, reading, writing and learning strategies. It also includes using computer technology and community resources. Students use various activities to practice English conversation including listening tasks, role plays, and discussion. Practical reading and writing tasks and vocabulary studies are presented as well.

Intensive Integrated English Plus
This program focuses on the speaking and writing aspects.


This course will give you the opportunity to do extra 10 hours per week.

Phonology:

This option gives learners a good 'technical' basis for improving their pronunciation. It will focus on the following aspects of phonology:

Academic Writing:

Improving your writing skills to contribute to your education and employment- Academic Writing is a course designed to help you acquire the writing skills you will need in your academic career. This course will help you learn to write clearly, persuasively, and effectively. It will also teach you the fundamentals of writing a research paper.

Study Tour Program
The Study Tour Program begins with Pre-Tour English instruction for a special purpose. The program participants will be provided with the vocabulary, definitions, history and culture of the various Canadian locations, events and activities they will be visiting. The pre-tour English instruction will prepare tour participants to understand and communicate in English during these events and tours.

The Study Tour Program consists of 10 to 15 students per group.

This Study Tour group program can be structured for any industry group: media, accounting, education, government, mining, oil and gas, forestry, hydro sun or wind power generation, transportation, medicine, dentistry, fitness or any niche market place for technology transfers, education, sales or joint ventures.

University Bridge Program
The UBP curriculum has been designed to meet the needs for English for Academic Purposes and future needs for Education for Professional purposes.
