ILISA Language Institute:
ILISA offers intensive Spanish language and cross-cultural awareness training in San Pedro, a suburb of San Jose. Founded in 1987, ILISA is a medium-size language school and has a team of qualified and dedicated Spanish teachers with many years of teaching experience. During our 16 years of existence, we have used this experience to train over 5000 people from all over the world. Regardless of your background or current level of proficiency, ILISA will make your study rewarding and enjoyable.

Several of ILISA's programs can be tailored to meet your needs to assure you'll be better prepared for the challenges of an increasingly bilingual workplace.

Spanish for Executives:
You need Spanish skills but you don't have time. For you we offer the Executive Solution.

A pre-course needs assessment allows our staff to prepare for your arrival so you'll hit the ground running. You can start classes any day of the week, including weekends, for a minimum 5 days.

Spanish Language Solutions for Companies & Institutions:
We can work with your company or institution to design a tailor-made program that meets the needs of your organization.

Spanish Speech-Language Pathology and Rehabilitation:
Specialists in this field often deal with bilingual or foreign population in their home country and need specific vocabulary to effectively communicate with their patients or their families. We teach Spanish for SLP's, Audiologists, Special Educators and other rehabilitation professions and will assess your specific needs prior to arrival.

Spanish for Earning University Credit:
We offer several options to obtain college credit.

Spanish Cultural Activities Program:
Students are invited to participate in ILISA's free cultural activities program which changes weekly.

Spanish Courses for Children:
Why not bring the whole family? Childhood development specialists agree that learning a foreign language is easiest for children. ILISA offers a curriculum specifically geared towards younger students.

Student Groups for Custom Spanish Program:
As a school, university or other training institution, we will be happy to develop a custom program for you to receive a group of students. We can offer volunteering opportunities along with Spanish training and homestay.
