English Language Academy (ELA), Dublin:
Let us introduce ourselves. We are English Language Academy - a small friendly English Language school here in North Dublin, Ireland. We are fully recognised by the Dept. of Education/ACELS here in Ireland. It is a rigorous inspection scheme that demands high standards of educational qualifications and professionalism. We have eight native teachers at present who are all fully qualified .They give a lot of time and energy to the students and it really pays off. At the moment we have students from all backgrounds, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Mauritian, Japanese, Mexican, Hungarian, Polish, Zambian and Brazilian. GENERAL ENGLISH:
The ELA Intensive English course is structured to provide a solid grounding and improvement in the core language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. This course is offered in the morning or evening class periods, is open to students from elementary to advanced level and focuses on a communicative approach to learning. These Courses run over 25 weeks and involve 15 hours of tuition per week.

GENERAL & BUSINESS ENGLISH:
General & Business English is designed specifically for students who are interested in developing their general English language skills and enhancing these for work in a business setting. This course combines group Intensive English  classes, with a business elective, in group classes, focusing on a syllabus of business topics, such as buying, selling, ordering and marketing. This Course runs over 25 weeks and will involve 15 hours of tuition per week.

PRIVATE 1-1 ENGLISH LESSONS:
Taking private lessons allows students to benefit from flexible English tuition tailored to their individual requirements. Lessons can follow a structured format or can be arranged to concentrate on a particular area of the student's choice.

MEDICAL ENGLISH:
Because of the large influx of new immigrants into the healthcare sector the demand for conversational and written English is essential. Taking  lessons in medical English will allow students working in the healthcare sector in Ireland to agree a tailor made English tuition programme suitable to their individual requirements.

1-1 BUSINESS ENGLISH LESSONS/ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES:
Employers may wish to avail of this specific course which will develop their employees knowledge and acquisition of written and conversational English skills designed for the workplace/office. Our specialised tutors will devise and instruct students through a tailor-made study programme covering the areas of Business English suited to their individual requirements.

CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATION PREPARATION COURSES:
Cambridge Examination Preparation courses are specifically focused in preparing candidates to successfully complete the examinations which take place three times each year. The Standard courses, which take place in the morning, commence generally either 10 weeks before (for the March session) or 13 weeks before (for the June and December sessions) the scheduled examination dates.

Academic English:
The Academic English programme at ELA is an intensive English language course that prepares students for study at undergraduate level at University. In order to make sure that international students are prepared for our universities, they need to study a Foundation Course that will give them the same knowledge and skills that an Irish student will have when they start university. Students must have completed high school (year 11 or 12) and have an English level equivalent to 5.0 IELTS.
