Galway Language Centre:
Galway Language Centre is a small, family-run English school for adults located in a beautiful, renovated 18th century mill overlooking the river Corrib, right in the centre of Galway city, on the West coast of Ireland. Our highly qualified and experienced teachers, along with our maximum of 8 students per class, allow us to give each of our students all the attention and the support they need to make the most of their stay in Ireland.
We place our students in host family accommodation. Our families are carefully chosen for their friendliness, hospitality and interest in their foreign visitors.
Living with an Irish family provides students with an opportunity to practise their developing English skills, to meet ordinary Irish people and to share their way of life.
- Standard Host Family Accommodation: Single or double room with a shared family bathroom. Breakfast & evening meal Monday to Friday, full board Saturday & Sunday, including light laundry facilities.
- En-suite Host Family Accommodation: Single or double room with a private bathroom en suite. Conditions as in Standard Accommodation. Availability of En-suite Accommodation is limited, so this type of accommodation should always be booked as far in advance as possible.
Students can also arrange their own accommodation in hostels, B&Bs, shared flats, etc.
- English for General Use - intensive full-time course, 30 group lessons per week (EG30)
- PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC preparation courses available
- Full-time exam preparation course, 30/26 lessons per week (EP30/EP26)
- English for General Use - part-time course, 10 group lessons per week (EG10)
- Part-time exam preparation course, 10/6 group lessons per week (EP10/EP6)
- English for General Use - part-time course, 4 group lessons per week (EG4)
- Part-time exam preparation course, 4 group lessons per wee (EP4)
- Private tuition, English for General Use / English for Business and Professional Use
SPECIAL 3-FOR-2 OFFER - book and pay for 2 weeks of EG20 and get a third week free. Offer applies to courses starting in January/February, May and November.
Galway Language Centre also provides quality foreign language courses for adults during the academic year. Over the years, we have offered Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Russian, German, Norwegian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, and Portuguese language courses. We can also offer other languages upon request.
