St. Paul's Episcopal School:
St. Paul's Episcopal School is an independent, non-denominational K-8 school in Oakland in Alameda County, approximately 8 miles east of San Francisco. We are proud to serve families from Adams Point, Lakeside, San Pablo Gateway, Old City, Lakesshore and other communities throughout Oakland.
Located in the Adams Point neighborhood, the St. Paul's campus is within walking distance of a wealth of natural and cultural resources. In our neighborhood are the natural science, history, and art exhibits at the Oakland Museum of California, the snowy egrets at Lake Merritt, the gorgeous pool at the Oakland Y, and BART, which provides environmentally friendly access to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the California Academy of Sciences, and the Asian Art Museum.
Lake Merritt, the largest fresh and saltwater lake in a US city, is where students go everyday to study birds, play flag football, run a timed mile, eat lunch, or analyze water quality.
