H.E.L.P. Miami:
Situated in Kendale Lakes FL, just north of Kendall in Miami-Dade County, H.E.L.P. Miami (Hollywood Education & Literacy Project) is an alternative, non-profit, non-sectarian, co-ed K-12 private school for students with learning disabilities and special needs, including ADD and ADHD.
At Hollywood Education & Literacy Project (H.E.L.P.) Miami, our mission is to empower the individual student to become a competent, independent learner with sound educational skills so that they can master their academics and succeed in life.
Accreditation:
H.E.L.P. Miami is accredited by the NPSAA, and is a licensed Applied Scholastics International Activity.
Our Students:
Our programs are designed for K-12 students who have been falling behind or labeled as "off track", a slow learner or learning disabled with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
H.E.L.P. Miami is a non-religious school. We accept students of all races and religions.
- Engaging Individual Programs
All of our programs are designed to engage the individual and make him or her a participant to their education.
- Small Class Sizes
Average class size is 8 to 10 students per teacher allowing each student to receive personal attention. Our curriculum is geared to small groups and includes many hands-on activities.
- Specific Study Methods
H.E.L.P. Miami uses a specific study method that teaches our students how to study. We are not interested in instructing our students so they can “pass a test.”

Students in our program are interviewed and tested 4 times a year, while on a personal study program which includes study skills and subjects such as Reading, Language and Math.
