French Summer Classes, Cannes - Summer Camps 2024 + ONLINE French Classes:
Participating in a French immersion program in the South of France will give your child or teenager a head-start academically as well as unforgettable memories! French Summer Classes (Passeport pour les Langues) provides year-round and summer French courses in Cannes on the French Riviera for children (from age 6+), teenagers (junior and high school students), adults and families.

Year-Round & Summer French Courses for Children & Teenagers 2024:

• Summer French language courses for children - ages 6-11:
Our French language school for children offers an exciting language program for kids ages 6 through 11 in France. While mums and dads have their lesson with the other adults, children have their lessons with other children.

The French lessons for children take place in the mornings from 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m from Monday to Friday for a total of 20 hours per week.

There is a maximum of eight children per class to ensure individual attention. Classes may be taken from 1 - 8 weeks in June, July and August.

All the children are encouraged to participate in active learning activities such as imitating sounds, learning and memorizing sentences, singing French songs, playing games in the French language, participating in storytelling, cooking, creative arts and more.

Young and beginner students are encouraged to take part in cross-curriculum activities (maths, arts, music, P.E, drama etc).

In this natural environment, children gain confidence and at the same time they develop enthusiasm for learning the French language.

The older students (depending on their needs and ability) benefit from various areas of language study such as grammar, reading and writing.

There will also be supervised outings in the town, where students have the opportunity to test out their French skills in various real-life situations.


• Summer French language courses for non-beginner children – ages 6-11:
French Summer Classes offers a special French class for children aged 6 - 11 who have a medium-good knowledge of the French language.

This program is designed for children  to help them increase or maintain their French language skills and get ready for the rentrée (back to school), while spending pleasant linguistic holidays on the French Riviera with their parents.

We are flexible and have small size classes (max. 8 children per teacher). Thus, every need can be taken into account. Classes can be taken from 1 - 8 weeks in June, July and August.


• Summer French language courses for teenagers - ages 11-17:
This French language course for teenagers (junior and high school students) is designed to students who wish to improve their French language skills and enjoy learning French language and the culture while meeting new people.

The summer program consists of French lessons in the mornings, leaving the rest of the day free for excursions, activities, socialising or relaxation. Classes can be taken from 1 - 8 weeks in June, July and August.

Teaching is done in a student-centered atmosphere (6-8 students in the class) where participants may be challenged and not fear making mistakes.

In this encouraging, stimulating environment, students gain confidence and develop enthusiasm for learning French language.

Grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening are tackled in the French class. Students are encouraged to take part in active learning activities such as grammar and vocabulary drills, role playing, verbal presentations and practical conversations. All the study materials are provided.


• Summer French for families:
Because all of our French language classes are held at the same time (from 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m), parents can drop their children off before the adult class, see them at the break time and pick them up after their French class in the same building.


• Private French lessons (also available year-round)
Treat your child to a tailor-made programme! This course is based purely on the student’s needs and goals whether they need help with conversation, grammar, reading or writing.
