Forest International School:
The school is set in a beautiful house next to the forest of Marly, at Mareil-Marly in the western suburbs of Paris. The school has large grounds and a covered swimming pool. The school occupies a beautiful house with stunning views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. The garden is laid out in terraces providing separate play areas with play equipment, sand pit and plenty of room for riding trikes and scooters safely.
The large grounds have both a flower garden and a vegetable patch with greenhouse used frequently by the children. The children often pick fresh produce for lunch that they have grown themselves.
On a separate terrace we have our own covered swimming pool with adjacent changing room. The children regularly explore the forest next to the school, collecting samples from the oak and chestnut trees for nature projects or just to walk or picnic.
Inside the school there are bright sunny classrooms, library, a lunch room, computer facilities, a large multi-purpose room, used mainly for indoor sports.
The fully fitted kitchen is used to prepare daily fresh snacks and hot lunches. Children also often use these facilities to try cookery for themselves.
Driving Directions: Once you get to Mareil-Marly centre, take rue du Belvedere, next to the Mairie. At the junction, continue straight across onto rue de la Forêt. Follow this road which then becomes rue du Tour du Mur d' Echelle. The school is along on the left. Parking is available is a small parking area just beyond the school.
