Based in Mareil Marly, west of Paris, Forest International School offers an education in an exciting, multicultural environment based on children’s natural curiosity and love of learning. We offer nursery school, preschool and primary school programmes. The language of instruction is English. We are a truly international school, and this is reflected in our students and teaching body. Language Diversity:
The main language of instruction is English. Preschool and Primary children Primary have French or Dutch lessons every day. Initially, emphasis is placed on oral skills, with reading and writing being added as they progress. In addition, we offer an optional language programme on parents’ demand and number of children registered. This way our children can cultivate their mother tongue or become more proficient in a chosen language.

The children in the school come from around the globe. As all of the staff are also from international backgrounds and have traveled widely with their families, we are sensitive to the challenges involved in adapting to a new setting, and of importance of the school to the expatriate.
