Alexander-Smith Academy:
Founded in 1968, Alexander-Smith Academy (ASA) is a private, college-preparatory high school in Houston in Harris County, Texas. In addition to college-preparatory courses, ASA offers Advanced Placement and Honors courses. We are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Texas Education Agency.

Individual Educational Instruction:
One of the unique aspects of ASA is class size. We are dedicated to individual educational instruction and classes at all levels are taught in a structured, individualized environment. Classes are small enough (5-7 students per class) for students to get the personal attention they need. Classes are large enough, however, to foster interaction, discussion and debate.
Our Students:
ASA limits enrollment to seventy students to ensure unique and individualized instruction. ASA's student body reflects a unique population, and the school serves students who have distinct educational needs. Actors, models, ballerinas, equestrians and athletes in training for the Olympics need daily time requirements for the extra curricular activities, and ASA can offer each student individual flexibility. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The comfortable surroundings invite the students to apply themselves.
Student Activities:
Students are encouraged to participate in school sponsored clubs, organizations, and group activities. These include Volunteer Service Club, Student Council, literary magazine and food, toy and clothing drives. Students selected to ASA's National Honor Society chapter, Alpha Sigma Alpha, must meet rigorous academic requirements, and perform extensive volunteer community service. One of the most lively groups on campus is the Volunteer Service Club, which requires its members to be active in their community.

Located in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, Dance Center offers dance classes in pre-ballet, ballet, jazz, jazz combo, teenage ballet and hip-hop to children of three years upwards, teenagers and adults. Located in the Houston Heights area just north of Downtown Houston TX, The New School in the Heights is a private, special needs school for K-8th Grade children with ADHD, OCD, Asperger's, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Sensory Integration, selective mutism, reactive attachment disorder (RAD) and other diagnoses where children struggle with social-emotional issues. Although we are not exclusively a private school for gifted children, many of our students are gifted and talented as G/T children tend to struggle with emotions they have not yet learned to manage. Located in Keller in Tarrant County TX, 20 miles north of Fort Worth, The North Texas Leadership Academy (NTLA) is a PreK-3-12th grade college preparatory private school dedicated to serving bright and gifted students.
