Gyan Ganga International School in Jabalpur in the Mahakaushal region of Madhya Pradesh in Central India is an international primary and senior secondary, co-educational, residential and day boarding school. From the time students get up in the morning, to the time they retire to bed, the youngsters are always on their toes, lively and energetic. The morning hours are spent in the dormitories studying. The dorm masters and dorm mistresses help in supervision and assist the students in their respective subjects of study. The dorm masters and dorm mistresses also help the wardens and matrons in accounting for the work at the end of the month, counseling and monitoring the progress of the children.

Studies aside, children also contribute to the work in the dormitories lending a helping hand inside and outside. Making the beds, tidying up tables and folding blankets are but some of the tasks the children get involved in as part of their learning experience.

Games & sport at GGIS are a unique and enjoyable experience. There is a distinct professional touch and emphasis on the value of sports activities as well as the importance of physical fitness in the student’s life that makes it an integral part of his / her development. Exclusive facilities are available for all indoors and out door games.

Vast Infrastructure for sports:  The school accords high priority to the Games, Sports and Physical education. 3 lac sq ft of land has been developed as sports complex. The school has a separate standard court for Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton and Kho-Kho. Huge lush green playgrounds for Football, Hockey and Athletics add some extra charm for the players. The school provides the net practice for Cricket in turf wickets. The school has in-house arrangement for almost all the Indoor games like Table tennis, Chess, Carom etc. Every year, the school organizes Divisional; State and National level tournaments in the Campus. The school’s teams are the unbeaten regional Champions of many games.

Adventure Sports, Yoga and Meditation:  The school promotes and encourages students compulsorily to participate in adventure sports like horse riding, Para sailing, Rifle shooting etc. School provides an exclusive facility of horse riding to the students in the schools riding zone. A separate shooting zone enables the students a special training of rifle shooting. Gyan Ganga Fight Club trains the students in Judo, Karate, Wushu and Martial art to face the toughest challenges in life by self-defense mechanism.

The school became Wushu Champion of the region many times. Dhyan, Yoga and Meditation are the routine part of morning and evening assembly. Volleyball / Basket ball: GGIS also has 3 Volleyball courts and 2 Basketball courts. Basketball courts are provided with latest lighting facilities to enable night time practice. GGIS has standard Football grounds which meets the requirements to conduct national level tournaments.

The school has a full-length standard-sized swimming pool and a separate small pool for tiny tot learners. It is equipped with  amodern filtration plant. Swimming is compulsory for all the students. Separate trained experienced coaches and care takers are there for Boys and Girls. The school has received good laurels in the divisional and state level tournaments many times. It has hosted state and division level tournaments in its pool.

Normally, every year, school swimmers represent the State in National swimming tournaments. The school is also establishing an ultra modern Gymnasium for both boys and girls very soon.
