About us:
The Slaney Language Centre is a small and personal language centre and specialises in courses for adults and families. We believe that a language needs to be spoken and it is important to us to keep class sizes small. The maximum number of students per any one level group is 8. Our fully qualified language tutors have many years of teaching experience in Ireland and abroad and are motivated and enthusiastic. Many of our students return to our language centre year after year.
Accreditation:
The Slaney Language Centre is recognised by the Department of Education and Science, accredited by ACELS and a member of the Language School Association MEI RELSA.

General English Group Course Intensive; General English Group Course Intensive Plus 4; General English Group Course Intensive Plus 10; One-to-one English Tuition; Two-to-one English Courses; Business English for Executives; First Certificate Exam Preparation Group Course (May - June).
Teachers:
Our native speaking teaching team has worldwide experience in language training. Each tutor is fully qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.
Accommodation:
1. Full board with a local family
All our families have been inspected by our staff. Some of our families are approved B&Bs which guarantee en suite bedrooms of good quality. We do our utmost to match each student with the most suitable family. Students will be provided with breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal.
2. Accommodation on site
If you require quality accommodation in a relaxing scenic location, this is the right choice for you. You can take it easy in the mornings as the accommodation is located right beside our language school. The Heritage Park with its renowned restaurant is in walking distance. If you require an evening meal please book with James or Ester Caulfield at least one day in advance.

• English Language immersion course for students aged 12 to 17 in County Sligo in the beautiful West of Ireland!• The programme consists of 3 hours of English tuition each morning. Afternoons are filled with a choice of fun activities including Kayaking, Horse-Riding, Cookery Lessons, Irish Dancing and Zip-Lines in the local forest park!
• Our course is also attended by Irish teenagers who act as Student Guides for our international students. The Irish teenagers attend activities and live with the students in our lakeside accommodation to ensure they have an enjoyable language learning holiday.
• Evenings are spent relaxing and include English movie nights, Quizzes, Board games, table tennis competitions etc.
• English Language Camp Ireland takes place on Lough Arrow in the west of Ireland. The residential accommodation is located on the shores of one of Ireland's most beautiful lakes.
• Our unique weekend excursion takes students to a remote island on the lake where our students along with Irish teenagers, teachers and activity leaders camp overnight.
